Information You Add

You may add workout details, body measurements, notes, progress photos, nutrition information, and app preferences. This information is used to power the app experience on your device.

Local Storage

Kabi stores app data locally. If you export a backup or share a workout summary, you choose where that file or image is sent.

Data Retention

Kabi does not require an account and does not store your app data on our servers. Workout logs, routines, nutrition entries, measurements, health information imported into Kabi, settings, and selected photos are retained locally on your device until you delete them, use Settings > Reset and Erase All Data, or uninstall Kabi.

Exported backups and content you share remain wherever you chose to save or send them until you delete them there. Records stored in Apple Health, Health Connect, or Huawei Health are retained by those services according to their policies and remain under your control through their respective apps and settings.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual records and progress photos within Kabi. To erase Kabi’s locally stored app data, open Kabi > Settings > Reset and Erase All Data and confirm the deletion. You can also uninstall Kabi to remove its locally stored data and files from your device.

Kabi does not maintain server-side user accounts, so there is no server-side account deletion process. Resetting or uninstalling Kabi does not automatically delete records previously written to Apple Health, Health Connect, or Huawei Health; manage those records in the relevant health app or settings, or choose Kabi’s option to delete a workout from both Kabi and the connected health service when available.

Photos and Camera

Kabi may request access to your photo library or camera when you choose to attach progress photos or share workout imagery. Access is only used for the action you start.

Notifications

If enabled, Kabi may send local reminders or rest timer notifications. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

Third Parties

Kabi does not sell personal information. The app does not require an account. Information you choose to sync with Apple Health, Health Connect, or Huawei Health is handled by those services under their respective policies and permissions.

Huawei Health Service Kit SDK

On supported Android devices, you can choose to connect Kabi to the Health Service Kit SDK, provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. Kabi asks Huawei Health for only the categories used in the app: weight, step count, calories burned, sleep, heart rate, and resting heart rate. Kabi also asks for permission to save and remove completed workouts created by Kabi.

Kabi uses this information to show health and activity summaries beside your workouts and measurements. Imported information is retained in Kabi’s local storage until you delete it, reset Kabi, uninstall Kabi, or disconnect Huawei Health. Kabi does not send this information to a Kabi server.

Huawei states that its SDK may process basic personal information, health and fitness information, and device information such as a device identifier, model, and name. Health and personal information supports Huawei’s health-data storage and sharing service; device information identifies the data source. On a non-Huawei phone, using the SDK may start the Huawei Health app for authentication and service delivery. Read Huawei’s Health Service Kit SDK Privacy and Security Statement.

Kabi does not call Huawei Health Service Kit until you choose to connect and continue from Kabi’s disclosure. Huawei Health then lets you choose which data categories to authorize. You can manage or revoke access in Kabi or Huawei Health.
